Something that really pisses me off.
Some klaine/Blaine stans who assume the only reason someone could possibly want Dave back on glee is because they want kurtofsky to happen. So, therefore, anyone asking why Dave hasn’t returned/complaining that his storyline was dropped is just bitter about not getting to see their preferred pairing on tv.
No.
The majority of people who want Dave back want Dave back because he was last seen crying in a hospital bed. AFTER TRYING TO KILL HIMSELF. He was outed and left without friends, a school, or an accepting mom. That’s how they left him. With a brief fantasy that even Brad the Jackass called a “possibility” of a happy future, not a real flash forward.
Neither the character nor the storyline were given any resolution. That’s why people want Dave back. Sure, many of them like kurtofsky (myself included), but it’s also true that many people who want Dave back don’t ship kurtofsky at all. People care about/ relate to the character and the storyline and want to see the next chapter in Dave’s unfinished story.
So, klaine/Blaine stans who celebrated Brad’s announcement that he thinks Dave “has no more story to tell,” since apparently you feel that the mere presence of Dave is a threat to your ship. Just because your shallow immature minds can only think in terms of shipping doesn’t mean that applies to everyone else.
Some things are bigger than ships. Like the fact that glee dumped the story of a scared and just-outed suicidal gay teen.
